Dem Candidate Becomes The Center Of Controversy

A tumultuous turn of events occurred in the race for the crucial Virginia House of Delegates seat in District 57, where Democrat Susanna Gibson found herself mired in a sexting scandal amidst her bid for the state Legislature.

According to The Washington Post, emails reveal Gibson had an illicit affair with a Republican operative, which sent repercussions throughout the contentious race.

However, Gibson now faces a new and much different challenge: her side gig as a MILF-styled “Chaturbate” porn star. Under the username "hotwifeexperience," the 40-year-old mother of two school-aged children and her husband, John David Gibson, reportedly earned money on the X-rated webcam site by performing sexual acts for spectators.

The voyeuristic fan base, estimated at more than 5,770 Chaturbate followers, most likely paid to watch pre-arranged performances held in private chatrooms. Though Gibson implied the funds went to a "good cause," the Chaturbate currency is converted as such: 500 tokens amount to about $25 dollars and 1,000 tokens are around $50, with the platform taking a 40 to 50% cut beforehand.

The raunchiest of requests belonged in the most expensive private showings. In one particular online entrepreneur session, Gibson discussed her husband's disinterest in playing with others and boasted of "f**king three men in one day." Such sexual performances would, unquestionably, violate Chaturbate's tipping policy and raise a key legal question: Is private performance on a publicly accessible site still considered private?

According to Virginia's revenge-porn law § 18.2-386.2, it is illegal to "maliciously" utilize national or videographic sexual depictions of another person with "intent to coerce, harass, or intimidate." The crime is a Class 1 misdemeanor in Virginia and is punishable by up to a year in jail plus a $2,500 fine.

Gibson launched her campaign in July 2022. However, by September 2022, her cushy camgirl-style career was uploaded to Recurbate, an archived Chaturbate website. While the videos are no longer visible, they still remain active on other social media pages, some of which aren't password-protected.

Receiving threats of her content being shared and circulated without her permission, the Virginia Democrat released a statement calling it "a sex crime" and "the worst gutter politics," without mentioning her questionable side hustle. Her lawyer Daniel P. Watkins, a well-known libel-and-slander attorney, then asserted the sharing of Gibson's Chaturbate materials "maliciously" is revenge porn and an "illegal invasion of [Gibson's] privacy."

Nonetheless, current Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican in a divided Capitol, is now in a tussle to pass pro-life legislation with the Republican party clinging to a frail 49 to 46 lead in the state legislature.

Gibson, an outspoken Planned Parenthood volunteer and a nurse practitioner, is hoping the odds will turn in favor of her campaign as she seeks to protect Virginians' "reproductive rights" and put an end to the "radical anti-abortion agenda" sweeping the state.

But before being elected, she may need to survive the alleged sex crimes maze she currently endures. While controlling her rising publicity, Gibson's team is reportedly working with the FBI and other state and federal law enforcement officials to "bring the wrongdoers to justice."

The Democrat candidate tells Townhall she won't be tricked or bribed into submission. "I'm not intimidated or silenced," Gibsons declares. "They are trying to silence me because they want to silence you.”

Gibson is pitted against Republican David Owen in the Nov. 7 election, both fighting for smaller wallets as the Democrat zealot has $77,435 of cornered funds compared to Owen's considerable $166,179 cash stack, courtesy of Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP).

Surely, Gibson seeks to steal the show in a few months' time as she has already gained the favor of the environmentalist Clean Virginia Fund ($46,000) and the pro-abortion PAC Emily’s List ($20,000). She was also “certified” by the left-wing Family Friendly Virginia as “a champion” of economic rights for working families with their “Family Friendly Seal of Approval.”

At the least, the public has an expected outcome, though Gibson has maintained her composure throughout the chaotic ordeal.

"My opponent and his allies know that the people of this district are on our side on the issues, so they're stooping to the worst gutter politics," the candidate retorts.

"There's too much at stake in this election and I'll never stop fighting for our community."
