Kellyanne Conway and her husband George have officially ended their 22-year marriage after the two, who were once a political power couple, became de-facto political rivals. While Kellyanne was one of President Trump's closest advisors in the White House, George co-founded the Lincoln Project, which was devoted to attacking and criticizing the president and his allies. This caused a rift in their marriage, as Kellyanne wrote about in her 2022 book "Here's the Deal," claiming she viewed George’s work for the Lincoln Project as a betrayal of their relationship.
President Trump publicly congratulated Kellyanne on Truth Social after news broke out of the divorce, calling George an “unattractive loser” and saying that she will “finally be free to live the life that she deserves.” Trump has always been very vocal in his criticism of both Kellyanne's husband – having called him a “stone cold loser”– and the Lincoln Project – referring to him as a “husband from hell.”
Kellyanne and George also have a tense relationship with their daughter Claudia who has frequently criticized her mother on social media for her political views and work with President Trump. The couple reportedly have hired lawyers to begin dividing their assets while they go down different paths.
Kellyanne Conway is finally free from what many perceived to be an unhappy union with her husband George whom Donald Trump had publicly referred to as an “unattractive loser”, wishing her well for what will likely be a much happier life ahead.
Honestly, I don't even know how she put up with him that long. He suffers severely from Trump Derangement Syndrome. I'd imagine that President Trump is almost all he ever thinks or talks about. I bet he even dreams about Trump every night. I applaud her for her efforts to make the marriage work, but I'm sure they can't even get along at all anymore given how he is.
