Mark Hamill, best known for his role as Jedi Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy, crashed the White House press briefing on Friday ahead of the highly anticipated Star Wars Day on May the Fourth. He ended his appearance by thanking the press for their time and expressing his appreciation for their work, specifically mentioning New York Times journalist Peter Baker’s book.

However, not everyone shared Hamill’s enthusiasm for Biden. Certain media outlets, such as X, have pointed out that Hamill’s statement about Biden being the most legislatively successful president of his lifetime is debatable. Some have even criticized the actor for allegedly turning to the “dark side” and supporting a politician who is not worthy of such high praise.
