FBI Director Kash Patel issued a firm denial on Saturday regarding renewed speculation surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case, asserting that persistent conspiracy theories are unfounded. Patel’s statement followed the Department of Justice’s recent announcement concluding that there is no evidence Epstein maintained a client list, blackmailed powerful individuals, or was murdered.
“The conspiracy theories just aren’t true, never have been,” Patel posted on X. “It’s an honor to serve the President of the United States [Donald Trump] — and I’ll continue to do so for as long as he calls on me.”
The DOJ’s conclusions have drawn significant criticism from political commentators, activists, and online accounts suggesting that key information is being withheld or misrepresented. Speculation has intensified regarding internal tensions at the FBI and DOJ, including unconfirmed reports that Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino have expressed unwillingness to continue working under Attorney General Pam Bondi.

According to sources cited by The Daily Wire, Bongino is particularly dissatisfied with Bondi’s management of the Epstein files. One source claimed Bongino walked out of a recent closed-door meeting and has threatened to resign if Bondi remains in her position.
Patel, who has previously stated publicly that he believes Epstein died by suicide at the Metropolitan Detention Center, has not directly addressed the reported internal disagreements.
He also re-shared a message from his partner, country singer and conservative activist Alexis Wilkins, who pushed back against personal attacks and false rumors circulating online in the wake of the DOJ’s announcement.
I’ve spent my career saying no to anything that would compromise my character and working to restore America. It’s disappointing to see people with no real contribution to political discourse spin ridiculous conspiracy theories out of thin air. These accusations are obviously…

“I’ve spent my career saying no to anything that would compromise my character and working to restore America,” Wilkins wrote on X. She criticized social media accounts for spreading false narratives and encouraged the public to verify information about her background. “My happy relationship, my work, my Christian Faith, and my integrity speak for themselves,” she added.
While Patel has reaffirmed his commitment to the Trump administration, scrutiny continues to mount over the DOJ’s transparency in handling the Epstein investigation. Bondi has yet to issue a detailed public statement addressing the reported discontent within federal law enforcement ranks.
