You expect the Secret Service to be the most secure group in the nation. That was the plan.
On Monday, three officials were walked out of their offices. They were labeled as "do not admits" by their own agency. This happened during a criminal investigation into leaked classified info.
RealClearPolitics journalist Susan Crabtree announced the news Tuesday evening. She said two sources confirmed the agents were removed. The FBI and the CIA are now involved in the probe.
The leak likely concerns President Trump's secret flight from Turkey. He had to switch planes because of a missile threat from Iran. News of the subterfuge hit the media recently.
Some in the press made a huge fuss about being on a "decoy" plane. The president was not sorry about the move. He said, "I go by Secret Service and the military." They asked me to take another flight, a different plane.

It is clear that only a few people knew the real plan. Buzz Patterson, a retired Air Force officer from RedState, voiced concern regarding the leaks during a recent Fox News Digital interview.
Patterson noted the danger of insiders talking. "There's only a few people who actually know exactly what's going down, and that's by design," he stated, according to RedState.
When an insider leaks secrets, it puts the President at risk. Patterson did not hold back on how dangerous this is. He warned, "So if somebody leaked it, it was somebody involved in the process, and that scares the hell out of me."
This is not the first time security has been breached. Pentagon officials recently removed Frank Kendall, Biden's Air Force Secretary, of his top secret clearance due to " unauthorized disclosure of classified information regarding " security matters.
The Secret Service knows about the video and looks into anything perceived as a threat toward our protectees. That is the official line from Nate Herring, a Secret Service spokesperson.
Iranian state media has aired threats against the Trump family. They even offered a $10 million reward for the location of Barron Trump. The video shows places where the younger Trump has been seen.
Deputy Director Matt Quinn told reporters last month that Iran wants to kill President Trump. "I don't think it's any secret, it's been in the media, that Iran has publicly said they want to kill President Trump," Quinn said, according to Fox News.
The system is failing to keep its own secrets. Three agents are out. Two major federal agencies are digging deep. The clock is ticking on who talked to the press.
Out of concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence. Herring added that line to explain why they stay quiet.
But silence does not stop the damage done by leaks. The trust is broken when agents walk out the door. The threat is real when enemies offer cash for a child's location.
