'South Park' Writers Website Stirs Debate

A former South Park writer has ignited controversy after launching a website targeting President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, with a satirical — and sharply provocative — call for him to be drafted into military service.

Toby Morton, 50, who describes himself as a creator of “Anti-Fascist Websites” and operates several parody platforms, recently unveiled DraftBarronTrump.com. The site comes as President Trump continues military operations against Iran, including the high-profile campaign aimed at dismantling the ruling regime’s leadership and military infrastructure.

Morton’s website adopts exaggerated praise to make its point. “America is strong because its leaders are strong. President Trump proves that every day,” the homepage reads. “Naturally, his son Barron is more than ready to defend the country his father so boldly commands. Service is honor. Strength is inherited.”

It adds: “Dog Bless Barron.”

Throughout the site, Morton employs over-the-top language clearly designed as satire. “If you’re looking for proven genes, inherited courage, and unquestionable resolve, look no further than the Trump family,” one section states. “Leadership starts somewhere.”

The page also features fabricated quotes attributed to Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. In one fictional quote, Donald Jr. supposedly says he will honor Barron’s “sacrifice” by discussing it “from a safe distance.” Another fake quote portrays Eric Trump delivering an absurd monologue about pancakes, underscoring the parody’s tone.

Elsewhere, the site includes a mock claim that Americans are approaching the president “with tears in their eyes” asking that Barron be sent to a war zone — a reference to a phrase Trump has often used in speeches.

Morton also attempted to spark traction on social media with the hashtag #SendBarron. The effort echoes a broader pattern of digital activism and satire aimed at political figures and their families, though targeting a 19-year-old college student has drawn criticism from some observers who argue that political disagreements should not extend to children of elected officials.

Barron Trump is currently a sophomore at New York University’s Stern School of Business at its Washington, D.C., campus. At 6-foot-9, he exceeds the U.S. Army’s standard maximum height of 6-foot-8, a limit generally tied to equipment and vehicle accommodation requirements.

Morton previously drew attention for purchasing domain names linked to the Trump family, including trumpkennedycenter.org and trumpkennedycenter.com.
