We've got some intense news coming out of New York City that really highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding the conflict in the Middle East. Picture this: a rally featuring Vice President Kamala Harris and New York City Mayor Eric Adams took a dramatic turn when pro-Palestinian protesters stormed an afterparty event.

Now, this wasn’t just any afterparty. It was supposed to be a continuation of the rally’s positive energy, but the mood quickly shifted as demonstrators flooded the street outside.
The scene, captured on video, shows a group of passionate protesters lining the street, with some shouting, "You set Palestine on fire!" The tension was palpable, and it didn’t stop there. The protestors unleashed smoke bombs, adding to the chaos and making sure their message was impossible to ignore.

NYPD (including the notoriously violent Strategic Response Group aka SRG) has heavily barricaded the area. Two helicopters & a drone are flying above the protest. pic.twitter.com/A2Fa28An5K

One protester yelled, "How dare you," echoing the sentiment of many who feel deeply about the ongoing conflict in Gaza. This isn’t the first time Vice President Harris has faced such opposition. At a previous campaign event in Michigan, protesters interrupted her, but she didn’t back down.
In response to the disruption, Harris firmly addressed the crowd, saying, "You know what, if you want Donald Trump to win, then say that. Otherwise, I'm speaking." Her response was met with mixed reactions, but it was clear she was determined to keep control of the event.
Kamala wasn't there it was just hosted by senior NYC Democratic party elected officials.
This is the furthest thing from peaceful protest or direct action civil disobedience.
