Police Investigate Letters Sent Homes In Lower Merion PA

In a disturbing turn of events, some Philadelphia voters have reported receiving threatening letters in the mail, mimicking the appearance of official Trump campaign correspondence. According to information obtained by The Post Millennial, these letters, while starting with a seemingly benign introduction, quickly devolve into a chilling series of threats against the recipients.

The letter opens with a polite "Dear Neighbor" and a disingenuous acknowledgment of the recipient's engagement in the election process. It claims concern for political violence and the future of American democracy. However, this facade of civic-mindedness swiftly gives way to dark threats.

The author ominously states, "We know where you live, you are in the data base," followed by insinuations that harm may come to the recipient's family and even their pets, with specific mention that "your cat may get shot."

One of the recipients, identified only as Janet from Penn Valley, described her experience to The Post Millennial. Displaying Trump signs in her yard, she filed a police report with local authorities after receiving the letter.

The police, though sympathetic, were unable to proceed without video evidence, as the letter had arrived through the U.S. Postal Service. Janet mentioned that other residents in her area had received similar letters, some even hand-delivered without postage.

The letter’s content viciously attacks Donald Trump, labeling him with slurs such as "felon" and "rapist" and holding him responsible for a range of national crises, including the events of January 6 and the Charlottesville rally. It accuses Trump supporters of endorsing racism, misogyny, and even hatred of pop culture icons like Taylor Swift.

For those who visibly support Trump through yard signs, the letter warns of consequences, both political and personal. It predicts economic turmoil, societal division, and personal retribution, ominously stating that “visible support comes with a price.”

But perhaps the most menacing part of the letter is its closing, where it threatens the recipient directly, suggesting a possible "visit" from the letter's authors. The final line reads, “You tread on me at your peril, motherf*cker. We look forward to visiting in the future.”

The unsettling nature of these letters has raised concerns among the targeted voters. With Pennsylvania poised as a critical swing state in the upcoming election, tensions are already high.

The threats embedded within these letters serve only to exacerbate the growing anxiety surrounding the political climate, leaving those like Janet wondering what might come next.
