Pilots Involved In Operation Will Visit The White House

The pilots who carried out the high-stakes bombing run on Iran’s nuclear facilities earlier this month will join President Donald Trump at the White House this Friday as part of the Independence Day celebrations, multiple officials confirmed.

The elite B-2 Spirit bomber crew, central to Operation Midnight Hammer, will attend the Fourth of July event alongside fellow Air Force personnel from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the visit in a public statement, noting that President Trump is “looking forward to celebrating our nation’s founding” and honoring those “who stand at the front lines of our defense.”

She also announced that the day’s events will include a military flyover featuring F-22 Raptors, F-35 Lightning IIs, and B-2 bombers—the same airframes used in the recent strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

The flyover will serve as a symbolic tribute to what officials are calling one of the most complex and precise U.S. air operations in recent history.

According to the Pentagon, the B-2s departed from Missouri, refueled multiple times mid-air, and executed pinpoint strikes on critical nuclear infrastructure in Fordo and Natanz. Minutes later, U.S. Navy submarines launched Tomahawk cruise missiles that hit secondary targets in Isfahan.

Speaking on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, President Trump lauded the aircrews’ precision and endurance. “They flew 36 hours in very tight quarters, mostly filled with ordinance,” he said. “They hit a target half the size of a refrigerator door from 50,000 feet. Every single strike was direct.”

Trump also described the ordinance used as “the most sophisticated bombs in the world,” capable of penetrating 30 stories into granite. “They obliterated it,” he said. “It turned out beautifully.”

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Dan Caine confirmed the success of the operation during a recent briefing, emphasizing the joint coordination between the Air Force and Navy. He reiterated that the strikes were carried out with no U.S. casualties and achieved full mission objectives.
