Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated his military was successful in targeting Hamas and Islamic terrorists in the Gaza Strip. He said the terrorist factions have paid quite the price for their aggression.

A translated message from the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) stated that the weapons of mass destruction supplied to Gaza and Lebanon were purchased with Iranian funds. Any victories were dedicated to the now-deceased General Qasem Soleimani. The message mentioned gratitude to Allah and celebrated the blood of the martyrs for the Islamic cause. The conflict was revenge for Soleimani.
