WATCH: Drunk Airline Passenger Gets Taped to His Seat After Becoming Belligerent and Groping Flight Attendants

I guess the pandemic has really driven people to the brink of insanity, especially when it comes to airline passengers. It seems like there are a lot more idiots and violent people getting on planes nowadays and causing a scene.

Maxwell Berry behaved like a complete moron on a recent flight from Philadelphia to Miami. The 22-year-old groped female flight attendants and took a swing at their male co-worker during what must have been a grueling Frontier Airlines flight for everyone on board.

After his meltdown, an employee duct-taped the young man to his seat. Berry ranted to other passengers about topics ranging from race to his parents' two-million-dollar net worth. Fed up with hearing his drunken raging, the same worker taped his mouth shut as well to the cheers of most onboard.

Berry began making animal-like noises until the tape fell below his top lip. He then started calling out for help; to no one's surprise, his pleas were ignored. Berry soon resumed talking normally, seemingly forgetting that he was in the middle of a crisis. The 20-something was charged with three misdemeanor counts of battery.

Maxwell Berry was lauded by Ohio Wesleyan University for managing a successful academic life and collegiate golf career while a student there. He was even praised by his alma mater for -- get this -- shattering frat boy stereotypes.

Frontier Airlines said in a statement, “During a flight from Philadelphia to Miami on July 31, a passenger made inappropriate physical contact with two flight attendants and subsequently physically assaulted another flight attendant. As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived.”

Post-pandemic travelers have had their fair share of crazy in airports and in-flight. Maxwell Berry can now add viral video star to his resume along with the other idiots who can't keep it together for a few hours.
