Video: Woman Viciously Attacked By Stranger On Miami Metro


Surveillance footage shows Joshua James King viciously beating Andrea Puerta while she was alone inside Miami’s Metromover, police said. She said she had never seen him before.

King punched the poor woman who more than 20 times during the attack He kicked, pushed, kneed, and slammed her headfirst. She suffered a concussion, black eye, broken rib, swollen jaw, and bruising all over.

Andrea Puerta said in an interview “I remember that I closed my hands and I said, 'STOP! STOP! He did not stop. There was a moment when he said, ‘Sorry’ and I looked at him and he punched me and after that, I don’t know what happened.”

Graphic video has emerged of an unprovoked, vicious attack on a 29-year-old woman sitting alone in a corner on a Miami metro in which a 25-year-old man man unknown to her grabbed her, punched her over 20 times in the head, hurled her body headfirst across the car into a wall, then hurled her headfirst back into the seat before kicking her and punching her again repeatedly.

On September 24, Andrea Puerta was sitting alone on the rail car on the Metro train at the the Fifth Street Metromover Station when Joshua James King, 25, walked into the metro car. Video shows King leaving the car, then returning to assault Puerta. A Miami-Dade Transit surveillance camera captured the incident.

Puerta told Local 10: “I remember that I closed my hands and I said, ‘Stop! Stop!’ He didn’t stop. There was a moment when he said, ‘Sorry’ and I looked at him and he punched me and after that, I don’t know what happened.” She added, “He saw my eyes; he didn’t care about me. He’s so big; he’s 220 pounds; I’m 125. He’s two meters. He didn’t care about me.” She concluded, “I don’t know how I’m alive.”
