Crazy video captured by a body-cam shows a police officer saving the life of a suicidal man by wrestling him away from the edge of a building and later telling him that he loves him.On October 14th the officer resieved a call about a man standing on the edge of a parking garage threatening to jump, said reports. When the officers arrived on scene they noticed the distressed man on the edge was on FaceTime with someone.Then officer Eric Knuttel, a member of the Atlantic City Police Department's Crisis Negotiation Team, started to talk to him and talking him sown off the ledge. As the officer was talking to him, he slowly moved in closer and closer. After about 10 minutes of chatting, the man on the ledge Said, "She don't care, man, you know what" then he stood up, and it looked like he was going to jump, and that when officer Eric Knuttel ran in a grabbed the man by his leg and pulled him off the ledge into safety.
After the officers pulled him to safety, they stop a moment to talk with him, and you can hear officer Eric Knuttel say, "I can’t because I love you, alright? I love you." The man was then taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

The guy perched himself on the bridge of a parking garage this week and threatened to jump. Cops got a distress call but the caller didn't give the exact coordinates, so police went on the hunt. The guy's family sent police a photo of him and that helped them eventually find him atop the parking structure.
Enter Officer Eric Knuttel, a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team. Knuttel began talking to the man, but 10 minutes into the conversation, the guy became extremely upset and walked to the ledge, creating a perilous situation.
