The thing about the Democrats and their efforts to steal elections is that they can't hide forever.
With each and every passing day we learn of new fraud that occurred during our democratic process of voting to elect people to represent us.
They certainly try and hide or destroy every ounce of evidence that they can, but oftentimes it comes to light that they didn't do enough to cover their tracks.
Last week, two city council members in Paterson, New Jersey were indicted on charges of voter fraud after getting caught harvesting ballots and mailing them in bundled packs. Not too smart.
These two were actually charged last June, but only now have they officially been indicted on the charges. There were two others charged last year as well. Now, Alex Mendez, Michael Jackson, Shelim Khalique and Abu Razyen are all up to their necks in trouble.
Alex Mendez won the special election to fill a council seat on May 12, but voter fraud claims soon surfaced. The state attorney general’s office initiated a probe after U.S. Postal Service inspectors said they found hundreds of mail-in ballots located in a mailbox in Paterson, along with more found in nearby Haledon.
Ultimately, the Passaic County Board of Elections decided not to count 800 ballots cast in the race and a judge ordered a new election for last November.
Mendez, 45, and Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, 49, were originally charged in a criminal complaint last June. Despite the pending criminal charges, Mendez won a tight race in November.
The indictments handed up last month charge Mendez and Jackson with multiple counts including election fraud, unauthorized possession of ballots and falsifying or tampering with public records. The state attorney general’s office alleged the men collected ballots from voters and delivered them to county officials, which candidates are prohibited from doing.
If they are convicted, they could face up to 10 years in prison.
Once again, to me it seems obvious that if this can happen and has happened in some area, it should be investigated in other places and efforts should be made to try and prevent it from happening again. Instead, what we're seeing is the Democrats trying to make it easier for this to happen with things like H.R. 1 that they're trying to pass.
