A Texas man was caught on camera punching an anti-Trump protester in the face outside a convenience store.
The incident took place outside a convenience store in Denton, Texas, where an apparent anti-Trump demonstration was taking place. The video shows a 44-year-old Jason Lata yelling at the anti-Trump protester telling him to "turn it off."As you can hear in the video, he was playing a song by YG and Nipsey Hussle called "FDT" (F*ck Donald Trump). The friends of the Trump Supporter tried to ease the situation down by telling the protesters to play the music across the street.
In the video, you can also see a man wearing a Trump 2020 shirt is heard telling the demonstrator, "You shouldn't even be here, bud." a few seconds later, the man yelling says "I'll f**k you up," and the punches the protester in the face, causing him to fall over.
The video comes as President Trump remains hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center, where he is being treated for coronavirus.
The guy who got punched says he's fine, but he did go to a hospital. Local police arrested 44-year-old Jason Lata late Saturday after officers obtained a warrant for his arrest. He is charged with assault causing bodily injury and was booked to the Denton City Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Four weeks before Election Day and the song "F**k Donald Trump" is a serious trigger for at least one Trump supporter, who sucker punched a man over it.
The violence went down outside a Buc-ee's in Denton, TX and the video shows a couple of maskless Trump supporters telling another man to beat it and stop playing YG's political anthem on repeat.
As you can see, one of the Trump supporters yells "turn it off" in the guy's face and suddenly throws an unprovoked punch, clocking the guy right in the face and sending him to the pavement.
