Todd Blanche Responds To Senator

Democrats Lost Their Attack on Transparency

Democrats tried to trap Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche during his confirmation hearing. They wanted to paint him as a loyalist who would hide the truth. Instead, he handed them a list of facts they could not deny. Blanche told the committee that the Trump administration has been more open than any past government. He said, "We made unredacted versions of the entire database available to everybody in this body, and we did that because of transparency." According to the Daily Wire, nearly 3 million pages from the Epstein files have been released to Congress. This is a massive shift from the Biden years. Blanche noted that for four years there was silence on the case. He stated, "The Biden administration did nothing to be transparent about the Epstein case." The Democrats had no answer for this record.

The IRS Deal Was A Scam And He Stopped It

The hearing also exposed a corrupt scheme involving the IRS and an "Anti-Weaponization Fund." This fund was designed to reward Trump allies for alleged persecution. Blanche approved the initial plan but faced intense backlash. According to Reason Magazine, the deal was ditched two weeks after it was announced. A federal judge later called the settlement agreement "improper" and a product of self-dealing. Blanche defended the initial move as a legal response to an IRS contractor leaking tax returns. However, he clearly saw the public anger and walked away from the deal. This shows he listens to the American people, not just political insiders. He did not let a bad idea become a permanent law.

Real Victims Need Answers, Not Political Theater

Senators like Dick Durbin demanded Blanche meet directly with ten victims in the room. Durbin asked, "Can I get your word under oath that within the next 30 days you will personally sit down with these 10 victims and hear their case?" Blanche refused to break the law to satisfy a political stunt. He explained, "They have lawyers, as you know. I'm prohibited from meeting directly with them." Legal expert Abhishek Kambli confirmed this rule is standard for all attorneys. Blanche promised that his team would work with the victims' counsel immediately. He said, "My heart breaks for every survivor, every victim of Mr. Epstein." He wants to prosecute anyone who harmed these victims if the evidence holds up. This is the rule of law, not a political game.

It is time to stop the games and focus on justice. The facts show Blanche is ready to serve. Will you support a true conservative leader in the Justice Department?
