The events that took place on January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol were not good. It is, in every sense of the word, a day for serious introspection. The events of January 6 have, however, been twisted to such an extent for the purpose of gaining political advantage that any possibility of discovering the genuine truth has been eradicated.
As soon as it was reported that angry supporters of President Trump would be staging a protest, leftists immediately put a plan into action. The authorities were aware several weeks in advance that there was cause to assume that the "stop the steal" protests could become disorderly and even violent if they were allowed to continue.
But the investigation into what caused the turmoil on January 6 has never been conducted properly. However, it has been used by many on the political left to construct a narrative that is not accurate. This narrative entails inundating the American public with the idea that it was an insurrection throughout the entire process.
Second, it was necessary to persuade the American people that President Trump was the person who instigated the rioting and was, as a result, the one accountable for instigating violence. That's not true, and the left knows this. They are aware that a significant number of the individuals that were apprehended were actually lured inside the Capitol.
The doors were opened so they could walk right in. Sure, there were a few dozen violent actors, but there is a strong indication that left-wing activists triggered much of the violence and vandalism. However, no one wants to talk about these facts.
To investigate the events of January 6, 2021, Nancy Pelosi and radical progressives organized a so-called “committee”. This “committee” claims to be searching for the truth. They’re not. If they wanted the truth, the January 6 hearings would offer counterpoints and rebuttal.
They do not. This is a one-sided witch hunt with one objective. The corrupt cabal of President Trump haters is trying to fabricate false charges against him, so they don’t have to run against him in 2024. Democrats know that Joe Biden has been an abysmal decision.
The left’s plans to install a puppet figurehead to carry out the wishes of the progressive left have not worked. It’s been a total failure. They quickly realized that President Trump is still wildly popular with millions of Americans. His chances of winning in 2024 are strong.
They need to work up a false claim that he tried to circumvent democracy when he questioned the validity of an obviously manipulated election. There was a massive amount of voter fraud. No one wants to discuss it.
All they want to do is parade a bunch of liars in front of the American people. But just like a cheap suit, their crooked plan is beginning to unravel at the seams. Documents and contradictory testimony are beginning to erode away the foundation of their corrupt scheme.
One of the committee’s so-called “star witnesses” has come under fire for her wild testimony about President Trump. Hutchinson has claimed that President Trump lunged at Bobby Engel and White House deputy chief of staff Tony Ornato.
She claims that the former president was irate over the fact that they refused to drive him to the Capitol on January 6. Individuals have already come forward to claim that this never happened. But again, the committee will not allow rebuttal or cross-examination.
This is a rigged game. Whatever their witnesses say is supposed to be the gospel truth. It’s not. There have already been questions about a so-called handwritten note from Hutchinson. The notion that she actually wrote the note has now been refuted.
The believability of Hutchinson’s testimony took a hit recently. A text exchange has placed serious doubt on her story. The text exchange began, “Hey (name redacted)! This is Cassidy Hutchinson. Kind of a random question, but do you still work for the Schlapp’s at the ACU?”
The person replied, “Hi, Yes!” Hutchinson then texted, “Do you happen to know a First Amendment fund POC I could reach out to? I was subpoenaed in early November, but the committee waited to serve me until last week.”
Hutchinson continued, “I had to accept service because the U.S. Marshall came to my apartment last Wednesday, but I haven’t made contact with the committee. I’m just on a tight timeline and just trying to figure out what my options are to deal with this B.S.”
Now for context, this is what Hutchinson told the committee under oath, mind you. “The president reached up towards the front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel. Mr. Engels grabbed his arm, said, Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel.”
“We’re going back to the West Wing. We’re not going to the Capitol.” Hutchinson added, “Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge towards Bobby Engel. When Mr. Ornato had recounted the story to me, he had motioned towards his clavicles.”
Now, if this were true, it might be something to strongly consider. But the substance of Hutchinson’s testimony continues to unravel. Not only does this story sound like some wild, fabricated tale, but her own credibility is eroding away rapidly.
President Trump is not the only one decrying this as a fantastic tale. Ornato has also come forward to say this never happened. This is one of the people Hutchinson claims was directly involved. Has Ornato been called to give testimony to the committee?
Not on your life, and he won’t. Another source close to the Secret Service told ABC News’ Peter Alexander that both Bobby Engel and the driver are willing to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted. They insist that President Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.”
No one who disputes any of these lies that this sham committee has sewn together will ever be called. This committee is trying to act as if it’s some kind of court. By definition, it may seem to be conducting business like a court, but it’s a “kangaroo court.”
No court is ever going to parade a list of witnesses to the stand in which their testimony cannot be questioned. This is what makes the January 6 committee a kangaroo court. There is no rebuttal. We’re supposed to accept that everyone is truthful. It clearly appears that they’re not.
