Starbucks Announces [THIS] To Do Their Part In Preventing Spread Of COVID-19

Huge chain, Starbucks, recently announced they will be doing what they can to help with the spread of the Coronavirus by pausing the use of personal cups.

If you didn't know Starbucks sells cups of all sizes and uses for customers to buy and bring in when they order along with a added discount. It's a good way to market the company for sure.

Executive Vice President Rossann Williams remarks, “We are pausing the use of personal cups and ‘for here’ ware in our stores,” Although she promised the company would continue to honor the 10-cent discount for anyone who brings in a personal cup or asks for ‘for here’ ware.”

According to Breitbart:

This safety measure is one of several included in the company’s response to the growing worldwide threat posed by “COVID-19,” more commonly identified as the Wuhan virus, or coronavirus. Notably, Starbucks is “taking guidance from the CDC and local health authorities,” increasing cleaning and sanitizing procedures in every location.

Apparently that's not the only thing they are doing because of the Coronavirus. They announced they are going to cancel their massive annual shareholder gala and reduce it to an online event. It is used to attract thousands of investors in their hometown, Downtown Seattle. Currently, Seattle is treating 39 coronavirus cases, has 231 under observation, and 10 deaths to date.

Starbucks is hoping to get some recognition from others for thinking about the safety and health of its customers. Kinda seems like when someone boasts about helping the needy in my opinion.

“We’ll continue to do what is right for our customers and partners,”

“Our hope – as always – is that after this is over partners will look back and say, ‘I can’t believe I work for a company that cared so much for me, my family and my community."

Just wash your hand's folks and continue after this pandemic.
