The discovery, made through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, confirmed what many suspected: under Biden’s leadership, the Department of Defense (DOD) had been deliberately pushing a radical, leftist agenda within the military ranks.
For seven years, this mischaracterization of pro-life organizations was embedded in Army training materials, targeting groups like Operation Rescue and National Right to Life as security threats. The full PowerPoint presentation, obtained after months of legal pressure, contained a list of “terrorist groups” where pro-life Americans were sandwiched between Islamic extremists and references to the 9/11 attacks. This wasn’t an oversight. It was a deliberate effort to demonize an entire movement that stands for the sanctity of life.
And it didn’t stop there. The same training presentation claimed that the origins of terrorism could be traced back to the “Zealots of Judea” in the first century A.D.—a grotesque rewriting of history that blames the Jewish people for global terrorism.
This narrative, as ACLJ Senior Counsel Jeff Ballabon pointed out, is a blatant attempt to align the military’s training materials with anti-Israel propaganda found in radical online circles. The real origins of modern terrorism lie with groups like the PLO, Hamas, and other Palestinian militant factions—not with the Jewish people.
The Biden administration’s military leadership didn’t just passively accept these distortions—they actively used them to train American troops. Soldiers were being conditioned to view peaceful, law-abiding citizens as the enemy while ignoring the real threats posed by radical left-wing extremists and foreign terrorist networks.
Fortunately, legal action forced the Army to acknowledge the wrongdoing. The Secretary of the Army admitted that Operation Rescue and other pro-life groups had been wrongly labeled, and the training materials “inaccurately referenced” these organizations.
