Musk Responds Directly to Trump Labeling Him a "Bulls**t Artist"

Elon Musk's name has recently appeared a lot in the daily news cycle. Musk is not only the richest man in the world, but he also has a knack for generating interesting social media posts. Additionally, he put in a bid to take over one of these significant tech firms.

Nevertheless, Musk's decision to back out of the purchase of Twitter has sparked a new, enormous media frenzy. But President Trump was interested in something else he posted recently. The two notable giants were expected to possibly compete on social media.

Early this year, "Truth Social," President Trump's new social media network, was introduced. It is incredibly well-liked among conservatives. Users who were harassed and censored on other liberally controlled platforms like Twitter and Facebook found Truth Social to be a welcome change.

But the comment that created a stir between Musk and President Trump didn’t have anything to do with their shared interest in free speech. What it did have to do with was President Trump’s prospects of running for a second term in the White House.

Musk doesn’t agree that it’s the best idea for the Republican Party. This is the same Elon Musk who was previously a dedicated Democrat voter. There is still ongoing confusion about whether his announced decision to vote Republican in 2022 is the first time he’s voted conservative.

At a campaign rally in Alaska, President Trump lit into the SpaceX and Tesla founder. “He (referring to Musk) said the other day, Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican.” President Trump continued, “I said, I didn’t know that. He told me he voted for me, so he’s another bulls**t artist.”

Musk quickly went into damage control mode. His comments weren’t condescending at all. His initial reply was a simple tweet, “Not true.” In a separate tweet, Musk replied, “I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat and sail into the sunset.”

Musk didn’t leave Democrats out of his reasoning. He tweeted, “Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.” Musk was direct with his opinion. He felt like there was an unhealthy amount of drama.

Musk took a shot at Joe Biden’s age as well, insisting that “I think the legal maximum age to start a Presidential term should be 69.” Musk has indicated his support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ahead of the upcoming 2024 Republican presidential primaries.

There is a growing number of Americans who are on board with that thinking. Some worry that President Trump will face a bigger challenge than necessary to prevent another radical Democrat from taking over the White House again.

Two years ahead of the election, the polls are clearly irrelevant. But nominating a Republican candidate for the White House who can win is critical. Elon Musk does not believe that the candidate is former President Donald Trump.

He does, along with a growing number of conservatives, think Ron DeSantis is that person. One thing that is for certain is that conservatives must bond together to stop another 2020. In November, Republicans must take back control of Congress.

In 2024, the Republican Party must put forth a candidate who will retake the White House. Our democracy depends on it. Maybe it’ll be President Trump, or possibly it will be someone else. The consequences of losing are unthinkable. We’d better think hard.
