The Australian government is taking things a step closer to their totalitarian dictatorship by now monitoring and limiting the number of alcoholic drinks residents in lockdown can receive.
People in Australia who are living under lockdown are now being told how much alcohol they're allowed to consume. In order to "keep people safe", people who are living in "NSW Health controlled buildings" can only have a certain amount of alcohol each day. Their alcohol deliveries monitored to limit how many bottles of wine or six beers they get each day.
Mission Australia’s Common Ground building in Camperdown is the latest building where occupants are subjected to the harsh rules.
Residents of the social housing estate have complained that care packages sent by friends and relatives have been searched before they are delivered.
“They are searching all bags and things coming into the building … They confiscated a series of gifts. So things like bottles of spirits, we weren’t allowed to have those and we still (aren’t),” Common Ground resident Robin Elhaj said.
Residents are allowed to receive a ration of one of the following: six beers or pre-mixed drinks, one bottle of wine, or one 375ml bottle of spirits.
Excess alcohol is being confiscated until lockdown rules are lifted.
Residents can consult with a clinician if they think they need more than the allowed limit.
This is absolutely another overreach by Australia. It's sad that it seems like with each passing day, there are more and more oppressive restrictions forced on Australians.
We've got it pretty bad here in America right now, but let's not forget that we need to be praying for our friends in other countries like Australia and Canada and others who seemingly have it even worse than we have it here.
At least here we have the Constitution on our side, though it's quickly eroding away.
