UVA President Jim Ryan of The University of Virginia has claimed that it is "Too Scary" to perform the 21-gun salute for Veterans Day. He exclaimed that it would disrupt classes as well as scare students because of the world we live in now with the alarming school shootings.
UVA spokesman Brian Coy stated that the college “hears and respects the concerns raised by members of the community.” Clearly he isn't respecting the veterans. Which is sad. It is sad because they would rather be politically correct than honoring our veterans.

Jay Levine is a veteran who spoke to local media outlets and who is ripping mad about the decision. The veteran went through the ROTC program at UVA. He said the 21-gun salute is the ultimate salute to those who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
He tells media outlets he’s planning on writing to UVA about his concerns, and hopes other veterans will take action as well.
“I am very disillusioned, very upset, and very surprised that they would make such a decision,” Levine said. “Freedom isn’t free. There’s a cost and that cost is born by the veterans and the families of those veterans.”

It is so sad that libtards would rather be politically correct then respect our Veterans on their day which is to honor them. I do not respect that at all. This is America and we need to do what we do best. Make noise and blow $**t up.
