It is a sad day when people use weapons, this one being a vehicle, to attack others for their beliefs. This was an attack on political beliefs.
On Saturday in the noon hours, a crazed man drove through tents with a late model Chevy Van where six Trump Campaign volunteers were registering voters. Thank goodness he didn't hurt anyone but he came very close. This all happened in the Kernan Village Shopping Center in eastern Jacksonville, Florida.
He took off after intentionally trying to hurt or kill someone. Later the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office located the van and the suspect, 27-year-old Gregory Timm.

“We are outraged by this senseless act of violence toward our great volunteers,” said Duval GOP Chairman Dean Black in a statement on Facebook. “The Republican Party of Duval County will not be intimidated by these cowards and we will not be silenced. I call on every Republican in our great city to stand up, get involved, and show these radicals that we will not be intimidated from exercising our Constitutional rights.”

The hate is toxic and dangerous. Thankfully no one was injured but certainly, they are shaken after being targeted because they were registering voters. I’ve spoken to the Sheriff and of course, his team is on top of this,” said Curry in a statement on Twitter.
President Donald Trump also chimed in with a very stern warning to copycats on Twitter,
