The Secretary of Homeland Security went to the southern border this week. Alejandro Mayorkas was appointed by Jim Crow Joe Biden, and he was confirmed in February of 2021.
Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas went to get a more close-up view of the conditions there, something that neither Joe Biden or Kamala Harris are willing to do.
Hundreds of thousands of migrants have been illegally crossing the border since January. In July alone, over 200,000 migrants were confronted by the border patrol. No one is able to calculate the number of additional people who are coming into the United States unnoticed, but the projections are staggering.
The reports that Americans have been getting from the White House about the border crisis are few and far between. Tens of thousands of people from over 160 countries have been released into the country already. They can go wherever they want, and there is no system in place to keep track of their whereabouts. Equally as alarming, the very few who are tested for the virus overwhelmingly test positive.
The Department of Homeland Security is assigned to protecting the security of the country. Alejandro Mayorkas was heard saying on a leaked video that the crisis is unsustainable. The federal system cannot handle Biden's dangerous open border policy.
According to the Daily Wire,
“Mayorkas told the agents that the current border situation ‘cannot continue,’” Fox News reported Friday. “He said the federal government’s system was not designed to handle such an influx of migrants as the U.S. has seen in recent months and he was ‘very well’ aware that the sector recently came close to ‘breaking.’”
“It’s our responsibility to make sure that that never happens again,” Mayorkas can be heard saying. “The extent of the challenge should not be understated, but nor should our ability to meet it.”
