The left was taken aback to see Korbin Albert, a 20-year-old midfielder who’s openly Christian, included on the team. Now, why is this such a big deal? Back in March, Albert shared posts on social media expressing Christian views on homosexuality and transgenderism, calling them immoral. This didn’t sit well with Megan Rapinoe, a prominent USWNT player and far-left LGBT activist, who labeled the posts as “hate.”
Under pressure, Albert apologized for her actions, saying she regretted “Liking and sharing posts that are offensive, insensitive, and hurtful.” But here’s the kicker: even though she apologized, the woke crowd didn’t stop there. They wanted her off the team completely.
In the past, this kind of social pressure might have been enough to get her banned from the USWNT. But not anymore. Despite the backlash, Albert remains on the Olympic roster.
