Horrific Tweet About Nashville School Shooting Has Spokeswoman In Trouble

A spokeswoman for Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has been bashed online in the wake of a social media post this past Monday of an image that suggests "transphobes" should be gunned down just hours in the wake of a woman that identified as transgender murdered six people, which included three very young kids while shooting up a Nashville Christian School.

The GIF in question, which was clipped out of the movie "Gloria" from 1980, was tweeted out by Hobbs’ press secretary, Josselyn Berry, and showed actress Gena Rowlands brandishing two pistols with the caption "Us when we see transphobes." It was posted this past Monday, despite the fact that the nation was mourning the recent murders of three young children and three adults, killed while attending class at the Presbyterian-run Covenant School in Music City by one 28-year-old woman that was subsequently killed by heroic police forces responding to the event.

"Less than 12 hours after the tragic shooting in Nashville by a deranged transgender activist, Katie Hobbs’s Press Secretary calls for shooting people Democrats disagree with," expressed the Arizona Freedom Caucus in a statement of their own. "Calling for violence like this is un-American & never acceptable. Josselyn Berry should be fired immediately."

Berry, who had also tweeted that same day, "If you work in the progressive community and are transphobic, you’re not progressive," quickly her Twitter account private as the chorus of people responding called for her termination.

Hobbs did not post a response immediately in the wake of her spokeswoman's actions but did end up conveying her condolences to the various families impacted by the events.

"My family and I are sending all our love to the families affected by the tragic news out of Nashville," stated Hobbs, whose election victory against Kari Lake this past November is still up in the air in the court system. "I know parents all over the country are hugging their kids a little tighter tonight."

Podcaster Matt Walsh, who has been the primary voice for the stopping of children being subjected to either surgical or chemical sex change procedures, also sounded the horn for Berry to be fired.

"This is what @katiehobbs  press secretary decided to tweet after a trans militant shut up a school," stated Walsh on social media. "Any Republican would be fired for this in an instant. We’re done with the double standard. @joss_berry  must be fired."
