Zachery Ty Bryan, actor and film producer who is widely known for his role as Brady Taylor, the oldest son to Tim Allen in the sitcom "Home Improvement," was just arrested for allegedly choking out his girlfriend.
The star was arrested late Friday night in Eugene, OR, and was booked on 3 charges, including 4th-degree assault, strangulation, and interfering with making a report. But the actor wasn't in jail for long after posing for his mug shot and spending the night at Lane County Jail. Zachery was released Saturday night on $8,500 cash bail.
Zachery has also been issued a no-contact order -- typical after a domestic violence arrest -- so he's required to stay away from the alleged victim and can't contact her in any way.
According to DailyMail
Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan has removed a social media post announcing his separation from his wife after it emerged he had copied the text from actor Armie Hammer.
Bryan, 39, who played the oldest son in the 1990s sitcom, revealed on October 1 that he was separating from his wife of 14 years, Carly Matros, in an Instagram post describing them as 'best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents'.
However eagle-eyed social media users have noted the post, which has since been removed, was taken word-for-word from a statement released by Call Me By Your Name star Hammer, 34, when he split from his wife last July.
Twitter user Casey Cline tweeted yesterday: 'I’m still stuck on this. Why did the oldest brother from Home Improvement plagiarize Armie Hammer’s divorce announcement? I need answers.'
'It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage.
'As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority.
