Her July 4th message was all the proof needed. Instead of celebrating American independence, Harris delivered a moody, vague lament about how “things are getting worse” — a tone-deaf performance from someone who spent the past three and a half years contributing to that very decline. Under Trump, the country had record-low inflation, rising wages, energy independence, and peace through strength. Under Biden and Harris? Open borders, sky-high prices, international chaos, and deep cultural division.

Even more telling was the now-viral photo she posted, where a suspiciously cropped elbow revealed what many assumed — Joe Biden had been edited out of the frame. On the White House balcony, no less. That’s not just social media “curation” — that’s political positioning. A quiet attempt to rewrite the optics and suggest some kind of distance between her and the president whose administration she helped define.

Now that Biden’s approval has bottomed out and his mental acuity is impossible to ignore, Harris is trying to step out of the shadow. But that shadow is of her own making. Her fingerprints are all over the policies and failures of this administration, from the border crisis to economic mismanagement to foreign policy blunders.
