Alright, folks, before diving in, I’ve got to say, it's great to see both parties setting aside their differences for a moment of unity on 9/11.
It’s a sight that feels rarer these days, and one we could use more of because, let’s face it, the constant bickering isn't doing anyone any good. But now, watch this drive.
After the debate, the left is rallying to declare Kamala Harris the clear winner. Now, I’m not saying Trump had a flawless performance—he was fired up, and maybe too much so—but at no point did Harris really land a devastating blow. In fact, it seemed like the biased moderators did more to throw Trump off than Harris herself.

If there was any real damage to Trump, we’re not seeing it in the numbers. Various polls have been released since the debate, and surprisingly, Trump is holding strong, even coming out ahead in some of them—yes, even in a CNN poll.
Now, maybe you’re thinking, “Well, X (formerly Twitter) is just a right-leaning echo chamber these days.” Fine. But let’s look at something more telling. After the debate, Trump, Harris, Biden, Schumer, Bloomberg, and J.D. Vance gathered at the 9/11 memorial to pay their respects. It was meant to be a solemn moment. But off-camera, the crowd’s reactions told a different story.

As the Democrats stood there, the crowd erupted—cheering for Trump. “We need you!” one woman even shouted, while Kamala Harris waved awkwardly, clearly not the center of attention. Sure, maybe this wasn’t the right time or place for it—during a 9/11 remembrance—but it says something. In a deep-blue city like New York, this was not the reception Democrats were hoping for.
And this only adds weight to the notion that the debate, while entertaining, didn’t move the needle much. We’re nearing the finish line, and let’s be real: with inflation, the economy on edge, and the chaos surrounding immigration, many voters have already made up their minds. People are looking for a change, and that change seems to be a return to Trump.
Harris, on the other hand, still faces an uphill battle. Even after the debate, it seems people don’t really know who she is. She spent more time going after Trump and spinning her wheels than delivering clear answers on her own policies. And that’s a problem when you’re trying to sway voters at this stage of the game.
