In December of 2020, former US Attorney General Bill Barr made a bold declaration to the American public. During the midst of President Donald Trump’s efforts to contest the results of the election and overturn them, Barr adamantly stated that there was “no evidence” of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 US election. Despite this claim being repeated by Barr several times since he left office, it now appears that his statement may have been false after all.
On Thursday, current Director of Litigation for the Center for Renewing America Jeffrey Clark joined Steve Bannon on The War Room, where he revealed more evidence against Barr’s claims. According to Clark, they sent out Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to twelve US Attorney districts from battleground states regarding any investigations into voter fraud done as a result of a memo sent out by Barr on November 9th.
Of those twelve districts, eleven have already come back with no documentation found that suggest an investigation had ever taken place, and even worse yet, one district requested to investigate matters in their area but were denied by Barr himself!
This damning information has been further supported by another source as well; Twitter user @FOIAfan used his platform to FOIA information regarding any Department of Justice (DOJ) investigations into voter fraud in the 2020 election, and no documents were found at all.
/1 Remember how Barr directed US Attorneys to investigate election fraud, and the Dem media called him a scoundrel? But when Barr said DOJ found no widespread fraud he was most certainly correct? Well, did DOJ really investigate anything? pic.twitter.com/KIsCpK7ajl

/3 So far, the feds have responded regarding the Lin Wood lawsuit, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada and Western and Central Pennsylvania. No documentation was found of any investigations. Still waiting on Eastern PA, NH and Arizona. pic.twitter.com/Jv8N0091Ai

It appears that Bill Barr indeed lied to the American people when he said there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 US election; not only did he fail to carry out any investigations into this matter, it seems like none had ever occurred in the first place. What’s more is that questions arise over whether or not the government was complicit in this alleged cover-up, and if so, what could have been their motivations behind it?
