Elon Musk Just Rocked Jack Dorsey's World Proving Twitter Has Been Lying for Years!

Elon Musk just dropped another massive bomb on Twitter's political bias and exposed their lies by releasing information on how Twitter has shadow banned people, especially conservatives over the years.

Back in 2018, Jack Dorsey tweeted the following:

Following up on this with a lot more detail. We don’t shadow ban, and we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints. We do rank tweets by default to make Twitter more immediately relevant (which can be flipped off). More on ranking signals:

Then Dorsey included a link to the Twitter blog which "set the record straight on shadow banning". The article begins by stating:

People are asking us if we shadow ban. We do not. But let’s start with, “what is shadow banning?”

The best definition we found is this: deliberately making someone’s content undiscoverable to everyone except the person who posted it, unbeknownst to the original poster.

We do not shadow ban. You are always able to see the tweets from accounts you follow (although you may have to do more work to find them, like go directly to their profile). And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.

We do rank tweets and search results. We do this because Twitter is most useful when it’s immediately relevant. These ranking models take many signals into consideration to best organize tweets for timely relevance. We must also address bad-faith actors who intend to manipulate or detract from healthy conversation.

Notice that this is deceptive. They are defining shadow banning as content only being discoverable to the person who posted it. That's not what shadow banning is.

In reality, shadow banning is a method used by some online platforms to quietly restrict the visibility of a user's content without their knowledge. With shadow banning, a user's content may still be visible to them and their followers, but it will not be visible to others, effectively making it harder for the user to reach a wider audience. The practice has been controversial because it can be difficult for users to know if they have been shadow banned, and because it can limit their ability to participate in online discussions and express their views.

But Bari Weiss exposed all of this on Elon/Twitter's behalf on Thursday.

There is a lot more to this, but you can visit Bari Weiss' Twitter account to read all of the rest. And the best part is that there is still more to come.
