According to a new book Elizabeth Warren, AKA Pocahontas, is assigning blame as to why she wasn't able to win the 2020 presidential nomination.
NBC News correspondent Ali Vitali is out with a new book, “Electable: Why America Hasn’t Put a Woman in the White House … Yet.” Based on an excerpt from the book in Politico, Warren and some in her campaign believe that one of the reasons is because Iowa’s Democratic voting base is filled with a bunch of sexists.
Vitali, who followed Warren along during the 2020 Iowa primary campaign, recounted that after the caucus was over, she discussed the campaign with Warren and why she did not do as well as she had hoped.
“Everyone comes up to me and says, ‘I would vote for you, if you had a p*nis,'” she claimed Warren said.
I can promise you that nobody comes up to Elizabeth Warren and tells her that. I'll bet all the money in the world that nobody tells her that. That's just one of the stupidest things that I've ever heard. Let me put it to you this way the only people who would vote for Elizabeth Warren are going to be Democrats anyway. And Democrats are super feminists. So, there's really no reason why they would prefer that Elizabeth Warren would be a male instead of a female in order to get their vote.
The only people that I would even suspect could possibly say something like that would be a Republican and any Republican with any sort of common sense is not going to even entertain the thought of voting for Elizabeth Warren.
Do I believe that there are people in the country who don't necessarily want a woman as President of the United States? Absolutely. And I think that it comes from both sides. However, just because it's not their first choice doesn't mean that they wouldn't vote for them. We saw that in 2016 with Hillary Clinton. According to the count that was given, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. We can't sit here and keep blaming our failures on other people and other things. We as a society need to step up and be accountable for our own actions and our own failures.
