Florida is currently experiencing a surge of COVID patients suffering from the disease in need of antibody treatments, a proven treatment of the coronavirus.
The Biden regime stated they would be increasing the monoclonal antibody shipments up to 50% on September 9th.
Yet, as fast as September 13th, the administration will be yanking back the supply from Florida, in what seems to be a move to force Floridians to take the COVID vaccine.
Florida Governor Desantis has stated that people are going to suffer because of this horrible action from the HHS and Biden.
“Just last week on September 9th, President Joe Biden said that his administration would be increasing shipments of monoclonal antibodies in September by 50%, and yet on September 13th, HHS announced that it was seizing control of the monoclonal antibody supply and that it would control distribution, and then on September 14th, the announcement was more than 50% of the monoclonal antibodies that had been used in Florida were going to be reduced,” DeSantis said. “So this is a dramatic reduction, and I’d say it’s doubly problematic because what Shane Strum and folks in Tampa General and these other hospital systems that have been doing this, they’re not getting it from the state.”
“What the HHS and the Biden administration is now doing is they’re saying that all of the reduced amount will go to the state, and we’re responsible not only for sourcing our sites, which we’re happy to do, but any infusion center, any provider, any hospital will have to come through the state, and to just spring this on us starting next week, we’re going to have to do that,” DeSantis continued. “There’s going to be a huge disruption and patients are going to suffer as a result of this.”
Even after the Biden regime has taken actions to hurt the residents of Florida, Desantis proclaims he will work like hell to save lives.
In the first move to secure the monoclonal antibodies, Desantis had a constructive conversation with a company called GlaxoSmithKline.
Desantis believes they will be able to secure doses directly from the company, rather than going through the HHS or Biden Administration. Donald Trump Jr. has stated that the Biden regime is restricting the doses, that would save lives, as a form of punishment against those who are refusing to take the vaccine. Desantis will work until he secures the doses needed.
