Woke companies are still going after people who don't bend the knee to their radical ideology.
On Wednesday, Candace Owens revealed that Chase Bank has dropped Kanye West as a customer. The letter from the international bank, with the subject line "Closing of Our Banking Relationship," was shared by Owens.
Addressed to Ye, it read “We are sending this letter to confirm our recent discussion with [redacted] that JPMorgan Chase Bank… has decided to end its banking relationship with Yeezy, LLC and its affiliated entities.”
West was given till November 21 by the bank to transfer his accounts to another banking institution.
The decision by the bank to discontinue handling the multimillionaire musician and fashion designer's accounts doesn't seem to have been supported by any explanation.
This comes after West received a barrage of criticism over what appeared to be an antisemitic tweet, which resulted in West being banned from the social media site. West wrote: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I am going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”
In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, West said "When I say Jew, I mean the 12 lost tribes of Judah, the blood of Christ, who the people known as the race black really are. This is who our people are. The blood of Christ. This, as a Christian, is my belief.”
I can interject here for a moment and say that as someone who is deeply rooted in Christianity, philosophy of religion, and everything in between, this tells me a little about what he believes. He is more than likely what's known as a "Black Hebrew Israelite" which is a movement that believes that the African race make up the true 12 tribes of Israel. I won't get into why I think they're wrong or get into the weird theology that surrounds the movement, but that's what it sounds like to me when he says that by the 12 lost tribes are the "people known as the race black".
Recently, Owens and West appeared together at Paris Fashion Week wearing contentious shirts bearing the slogan "white lives matter."
According to West, he ordered the shirts because it was "obvious," as he explained to Carlson. The Black Lives Matter movement, he continued, is a "sham."
West has openly talked about his battles with mental health and acknowledged in the past that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Without saying whether or not I agree or disagree with what he's saying, I think it seems rather apparent that he is still suffering from mental disorders of some sort mixed with a strange ideology.
