There is a reason why the first clause of the U.S. Bill of Rights is what it is. The main pillars of a democracy are freedom of speech and freedom of religion. A true democracy cannot exist without them both.
The American democratic experiment, in the opinion of the radical left, has failed. The left's radical ideologies do not fit in with a society that values free and open discussion, which is their main problem. The liberal left favors a socialist philosophy.
In a socialist society, the majority of the population is made up of people who are all treated in the same manner as peasants. The masses are ruled by a small number of self-appointed elites. This kind of government has never been successful. However, that is the new ideology of the Democratic Party's liberal progressive faction.
To achieve their goal, they must destroy the American dream. If free speech exists, these radical leftists will be called out for their attacks on freedom. Their strategy to change America into an oppressive, authoritarian country will fail.
Americans value their freedom above all else. They always have. Millions of brave Americans have died to preserve that freedom. Many are prepared to die for it now. But in a more orderly society, thankfully, there are steps to take before physically fighting for freedom is necessary.
America has a court system. Citizens have the right to sue even their federal government to protect their rights. Today, there are a few patriotic organizations that fighting to preserve the American democracy. Protecting free speech is their first order of business.
It’s a battle that must be won. The progressive left has used federal agencies to censor information that they dislike. Social media companies were instructed to erase stories about the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, these big tech giants were told to bury other stories.
Some things happened ahead of the 2020 presidential election that related to the corrupt Biden family international business scams. There has also been an ongoing effort to erase any evidence of a crisis happening at the U.S. southern border.
The Biden administration’s claim is that the U.S. southern border is safe and secure. It’s not. The U.S. southern border is anything but secure. It’s wide open. Millions of illegal migrants, some whom we have no idea who they are, have waltzed into our country.
Along with this wave of humanity there have come pounds upon pounds of deadly drugs. Over 300 Americans die every day from Fentanyl overdoses. Communist China is supplying the chemicals needed to make this horrific drug to the Mexican drug cartels.
Because the U.S. border is now porous, the cartels are shipping drugs into the U.S. at a record pace. Border agents insist that the cartels control the southern border, not the U.S. government. Anyone who has spoken out to reveal this crisis is being silenced.
As Republicans are primed to retake control of the House, new investigations are set to launch. One key focus will be on the level of censorship that the progressive left has used to whitewash stories and fool the American people.
Many point to each of the problems befalling the nation as having stemmed from the manipulated 2020 presidential election. The story behind Hunter Biden’s revealing laptop and his corrupt family is of key importance.
Data says that if Americans had known about this laptop before Election Day 2020, they would have changed their vote. Joe Biden would have lost. But the story was buried. The Biden administration tried to keep it buried for the better part of the last two years.
But these efforts have failed. Through live interviews and other documents, it’s been revealed that social media and big tech censored this story. They blocked accounts and used algorithms to keep Americans in the dark. The federal government ordered them to do so.
However, the watchdog group Judicial Watch has had enough. Judicial Watch has used the “Freedom of Information Act” (FOIA) to get rightful documentation that they believe will prove the federal government has been wrongfully censoring American citizens.
They are specifically seeking communications between the Cybersecurity and Information Security Agency (CISA), which is a subdivision of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The suit alleges the DHS used its powers to manipulate the 2020 presidential election.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation. Fitton said, “We’ve had these disclosures essentially over the last year that federal agencies, especially DHS, have been working to censor Americans, either directly or indirectly.”
Fitton explained, “This lawsuit’s designed to get into that. There’s these federal frauds that colluded to come up with a system of censorship for social media, and it looks like (the DHS) participated in it, and we want to figure out what was going on.”
Fitton told the Daily Caller that his agency is using its right to sue under FOIA. House Republicans have already initiated investigations into Google, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook for their role in censorship.
The Washington Times also reported that Amazon, Apple, TikTok, and Microsoft are also under investigation by the House Judiciary Committee. The investigations will grow in intensity as Republicans take control of them. Fitton stressed the importance of these investigations.
He cautioned, “This is a threat to the First Amendment like we’ve never seen in modern history.” Of course, the White House, DHS, and CISA have not provided comment. If Judicial Watch’s lawsuit is successful, they’ll all have to. We can’t wait to hear their excuse.
