Tara Reade, the woman who has accused President Joe Biden of sexual assault in the 1990s, has tweeted a cryptic message that alludes to possible threats against her life and her intention to testify before Congress.
In a tweet on Sunday afternoon, Reade wrote that if something were to happen to her, “all roads lead to Joe Biden” and that the “DNC political machine threats, bullying and intimidation” over the last three years would not work.
Reade, who worked as a staff assistant in Biden’s office from 1992 to 1993 when he was a US senator, also said that she is “not suicidal” and that she is willing to testify under oath in Congress “if asked to do so and tell what happened and what [she] know[s].”
The tweet comes after Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz invited Reade to testify before Congress, and after Reade responded to a user who accused her of being paid by Gaetz and Greene to testify by saying, “No I am not getting paid to testify about being raped by my former boss. You are an absolute ghoul. Sexual assault is non-partisan.”
Biden has denied the allegations of sexual misconduct.
The cryptic message was posted after Dr. Gal Luft, a co-director of a Washington D.C.-based think tank, claimed he was arrested in an effort to stop him from revealing information about the Biden family. Luft said that the Department of Justice is “trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim, and Hunter Biden.”
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo that his committee is trying to communicate with Luft and tried to get his testimony. Comer added that his committee is continuing to investigate alleged coordination between the FBI and members of the Biden family, including the president and Hunter Biden.
Reade’s tweet has caused speculation about possible danger to her and why she felt the need to emphasize that she is not suicidal. It is unclear if Reade will actually testify before Congress. No date has been set for her to do so yet, and if she does, it is uncertain what information will be revealed.
In the meantime, Reade is standing firm, tweeting that “The Biden corruption must end. Period.”
