Do you want to know what it takes to get things done in America? All you've got to do is look at this group of fed-up Arizona parents.
They had decided that enough was enough and confronted their school board about the mask requirement that was still in place nearly one year after it was removed from the state.
This is exactly how you get things done in America! People are actually stepping up and taking action against tyranny.
If you've been one of our readers for very long then you'll know that I'm a strong advocate for abolishing public schools. The history of how we ended up with our modern public school system is really something to be ashamed of.
I think homeschooling is the better option and it's easier than some people think because you don't have to provide them with 8 hours of work per day for them to learn. But I understand that not everyone has the ability to do this.
However, if you are forced to leave your children in public school, then what you're about to see is exactly what needs to take place across the country in order for schools to get put back on the right path.
Angry parents in Arizona decided they'd had enough of the mask mandate in the school district and they were going to do something about it.
Even though Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has lifted the statewide mask mandate since last summer, Vail School District kept it in place and parents finally said this is enough.
The board members couldn't handle what was going on when the parents showed up so they left. The parents then decided to elect new board members and end the mask mandate themselves.
While I applaud this effort, it may turn out to be illegitimate. It's unclear as to whether or not the school board members resigned. There are some reports saying that they did, and some saying that they didn't. But it's clear that they are fed up with that school board and what we need is a streamlined way of handling situations like this. Something that doesn't require jumping through hoops and getting a lawyer to help understand the process.
