Tim Kaine says he doesn’t know why Democrats are so unpopular. Really?
During a Sunday CNN interview, Jake Tapper laid out the brutal truth: new polling shows the Democratic Party is at its lowest approval rating ever. That’s right—57% of Americans now hold an unfavorable view of the party, according to Quinnipiac. A separate CNN poll found Democrats are sitting at a 33-year low. And what was Kaine’s response? I don’t know what happens in the other 49 states, but in Virginia, we focus on the economy.
Ah, yes. The old I can’t speak for anyone else routine—because admitting the obvious would be too painful. But let’s get real. The reason Democrats are crashing and burning in the polls isn’t some deep mystery. It’s the direct result of their own policies.
For years, they’ve prioritized everything except what actually matters to Americans. Instead of focusing on economic growth, border security, energy independence, or restoring public safety, they’ve doubled down on radical climate policies, weaponized government agencies, ignored the border crisis, and shoved identity politics into every corner of American life. And now they’re confused about why voters are running in the opposite direction?

Kaine tried to spin it, claiming Democrats just aren’t “advertising” their economic message enough. But Americans don’t need an ad campaign—they’re living the results. They’re seeing skyrocketing inflation, housing costs through the roof, energy prices climbing, and an economy that favors government handouts over real job growth.
The working and middle class—supposedly the people Democrats claim to champion—have been left behind while elites in Washington push policies that benefit bureaucrats and activists.
And let’s not forget the border disaster, which Democrats pretended wasn’t a crisis until it started affecting blue cities. Or the out-of-control crime waves in Democrat-run cities that they ignored until voters revolted.
Kaine can play dumb all he wants, but the numbers don’t lie. The American people have had enough of policies that put the country last. And come November, Democrats are about to learn the hard way that when you fail the people, the people will show you the door.
